[pct-l] it's odd to me

I was a PCT-L outsider, not a member and never had been a member, simply
minding my own business on a remote slope above a wild beach in the middle
of nowhere when I was unwillingly, unwittingly dragged onto this stage.
It's extraordinarily odd.
