Channel 5 just showed homes burning in Lake Arrow Head and Green Valley lake  the pct runs behind these towns in the san Bernardino mountns.  GPBill

  Hi all,
   
  I just heard on the local radio here in San Diego that over 100,000 acres have already burned in San Diego county, with 250,000 people evacuated from their homes.
   
  As far as I know, all of the fires are burning west of the trail.  1,000 fire engines are on their way from various parts of California... may they get here soon!
