[pct-l] Section A closure

If you are planning early hike make sure and take extra care with your water planning. Kitchen Creek is dry (for the first time in several years). I'm sure that several other reliable section A water sources may also be dry. But all of the water spigots in the campgrounds I passed were working last week. (Burnt Rancheria, Cibbits Flat, Bolder Oaks & Lake Morena).
I would be worried about the hike from Mount Laguna (Pioneer Mail picnic ground has a faucet) to Barrel Spring. That could turn into a very long 50 miles if Scissors Crossing is dry and the water caches are empty.
The weather experts are saying we are in for another year of So Cal drought.

  Pray for rain, Robert
