Yes Switchback,
Some folks think there is something wrong with us for doing the things
we do.

Like Brian once told me....''Reinhold some folks don't understand us,
they just don't understand the
crazy things we do....but We Crazy Ones we understand each other.''

Rest assured Switchback, ''We Crazy Ones'' are no threat to you, we are
to much in a hurry fast-packing
the trail.....it's the ''Slack-Packers'' you need to be concerned about,
the ones that have been on the trail to
long and have time to burn and are looking for some entertainment.
That is right Switchback, watch out for those ''Slack-Packers'' they
are your greatest threat.

BTW, motion detectors, lights and pad locks will not be a deterrent to
a ''Slack-Packer'' who has been on
the trail to long and screaming will do you no good....nobody will be
there to hear you except the bears.

My advise to you is stop wearing those fuzzy pink camp slippers and the
silk lingerie and do like I do....buy
your hiking wardrobe at ''Good Will'' at .50 cents per item, then you
don't have to hesitate rolling around
in the dirt (dirt is good for you) for fear of ruining your designer
wardrobe.
The grubbier you look the safer you are from those
''Slack-Packers''....no ''Slack-Packer'' ever bothers me.

JMT Reinhold
Your grubby trail companion
