I remember life preservers were named a "Mae West" for certain  anatomical 
reasons of Ms. West.  Now after all these years we finally have  a male 
counterpart.  The "Switchback".  Again for an obvious  and legendary attribute of any 
normal PCT mountainman and hard-core  backpacker.  I never thought of it as a 
life preserver device, but we  mountainmen are what we are.

 
I am a little bit embarrassed about this.  I humbly thank you for  this honor.
