Hi All,

I must respond to the below line to clarify and balance.

I am 100% disabled with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (I prefer 
Syndrome) from my military service including incountry in VietNam. The 
VA provides almost all my medical care. The quality of care varies from 
facility to facility but overall is quite good. There are problems with 
VA care. I used to received my medical care from Kaiser in Oakland, CA, 
and Kaiser had problems also.

The major problem with the VA is that it is inadequately funded and the 
appropriations are usually late. Due to inadequate funding and low 
payments for care, many non-VA providers will not provide VA paid care 
to veterans. Under funding has been a problem for years. Let us put the 
blame where it is due -- particularly on Congress and the Administration.
