[pct-l] Shoes/boots

I hope that this doesn't become a war - but I wonder
if people could submit a short comment on their
favorite shoes or boots.  I found Paul's comment on
the Montrail Hardrocks to be helpful.  Have other's
had especially good or bad reactions to particular
brands or models of shoes or boots for long distance
hiking?
