Derek is not gone............he merely went to ''HIKER HEAVEN'' in the sky,
where hikers from all walks of life gather for the Kick-Off, that Big
Roundup in the sky.''
''HIKER HEAVEN''  in the sky is a hiker's dream come true, where the air is
fresh the water is sparkling clear with endless trails and meadows and
mountains as high as the sky.
Why,.........Derek is probably hiking down ''Eternity Trail'' right now with
Ray and looking down at us and thinking after-life and hiking is good here
at ''HIKER HEAVEN'' in the sky.

So keep on hiking Glen, until you too reach ''HIKER HEAVEN'' in the sky for
that  Big Roundup and re-unite with Derek and all your other trail
companions and together hike the ''Eternity Trail'' for all eternity.
