You'll have better luck if you can make it 2 more days to Reds Meadow. Much 
easier to get out of then VVR.

>From Red's, there is a shuttle to Mammoth. I know that the CREST Bus can get 
you to Reno from there...but I'm not sure what other public transportation 
options you will have in Mammoth.
