Aquamira is available in Oregon. I buy mine at Oregon Mountain Community in
Portland. You can also buy it online from them at:

Subject: [pct-l] Aquamira!

I was in a Trail Fest session today with a bunch of '06 people who were
answering questions, and something that came up was how Aquamira isn't
really very legal in any of the PCT states (I'm paraphrasing).
The end result sounds like that it's hard to find this stuff anywhere along
the PCT, and everyone is stocking up on the little dropper bottles via the
internet.

I bought some little refillable eye dropper bottles, and then found some
larger, resealable bottles of Pristine (an Aquamira clone, possibly only
available in Canada?). I plan to bounce the large bottles and refill my
droppers as I go.

The advantage is mainly cost: 3 times as much Aquamira for 33% cost over
the smaller bottle.

You can buy it now from here (in Canada):
http://www.mec.ca/Products/product_detail.jsp?PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=8455244417
77377&FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=2534374302696751&bmUID=1174789519322

The only source I can find in the states is here:
http://www.chinookmed.com/detail.php?product_id=000177&limit_start=0

Unfortunately, the "camp" size is back ordered, so post if you can find a
better source!

Cheers,

Ryley
