New forest service data.  New data confusing.  How much and what does this cover on the PCT

Ansel Adams is the Wilderness area (22 miles of the PCT) South of Yosemite (or Donahue Pass)?

Bear canister required trails: High Trail (PCT), River, Shadow Lake, Minaret Lake, JMT North, Beck Lake, Fern Lake, Red Cones, JMT/PCT South, Fish Creek, Rush Creek.

Also how does this fit the equation?

JOHN MUIR WILDERNESS
Bear canister required trails: Duck Pass, Bishop Pass, Treasure Lakes, Little Lakes Valley, Mono Pass

Some of this is looking like confusing interpretation rather that clean data.
