[pct-l] snow amounts: Donner & Echo

Though there may be members of this List who live in the Tahoe area, as of yesterday, here is what Lady J and I saw as we drove through both passes:

Very Little snow!  South faces have no snow while north sides have between none and, say, two feet at 7,000 ft..  Last year the snow was above the height of my truck, maybe 7 feet deep at the trailheads, this date.  Huge difference!  It can all change with a few storms, but as of right now, looks like this year will offer few snow and ice challenges.

There is not enough snow for the PCT-Prep Clinic to run at the moment.  Watch the weather reports, though.
