[pct-l] Walker Pass Transportation

Dear PCTers,
   
  Do any of you know anything about transportation in the Walker Pass area?  I've been trying to find a taxi or other service to get down to Ridgecrest on March 25 where I can rent a car, but I have found anything so far.  I've heard that hitch-hiking can be tough there.  Does anybody have any other information?
