[pct-l] we need your help

I'd put in a pitch for Gallo (or other) dry salami - the whole salami, not
the sliced cryovac'd salami. Salami is a hiking staple for husband & me,
and whole salami can be hard to find. They keep really well in a pack - or
on the store rack!

Also, Backpacker's Pantry and Richmoor "Natural High" are brands I like,
although their stuff is a bit pricey. Since we haven't done a multi-month
hike in a while, it's easier for us to afford the freeze-dried - and I think
that they provide better nutrition than Lipton or ramen. I have no
experience with Enertia. There's one BP dinner I'd never purchase again,
though - Cajun Salmon Inferno. The emphasis was on the "inferno" - and on
the 14th day of a trip last year, we had trouble finishing it... so if
Enertia has anything similar on the "hot" scale, I'd make sure that someone
did a taste-test to confirm its edibility ;-) .

We are considering stocking Enertia trail foods the backpacker meals. There
are 24 different meals they can supply us. Our problem is this: we don't
know if these are what the hikers like and if they do like this brand which
meals should we stock at grocery store in sierra city. Thanks in advance for
all the help!!
