Crest Trail at 10 REI stores in the San Francisco Bay Area and Oregon. If
you're curious about what a southbound thru-hike is like on the PCT, come

PROGRAM INFO: After hiking the Appalachian Trail in 2001, Francis Tapon set
out last year to thru-hike the 2,650-mile Pacific Crest Trail. Join Francis
for slides and video of his four-month PCT adventure, hiking north to south
through Washington, Oregon and California. Francis will share highlights
from his book "Hike Your Own Hike: 7 Life Lessons from Backpacking Across
America," and discuss the nuts and bolts of organizing and completing a
thru-hike of this spectacular national trail.
