[pct-l] the Solitude Log - anyone?

You can also try hiking the Mohave portion of the Pacific Crest Trail (Agua Dulce to Tehachapi) in March or April.  My son and I did a three day backpack on that section of the trail this past April.  We didn't see a single hiker all three days.

If you want solitude try hiking in the Quinault rainforest or the Staircase
area of the Olypmics in December.   I rarely encounter another soul on the
entire trail during a mid-week winter day hike around here.
