Well you know in regards to your 1000 hikers a year on the PCT, indirectly there is well over that # and perhaps its in the 1000(s) when you consider how many folks hike a good portion of the trail each year........ It may be called the JMT but it does overlap the pct and those #s are pretty high.......... then take the pct in Wa, there is probably more hikers who hike 100s of miles there each year and use the pct as a connector trail to others.... how many do Mt. Hood as a circumnavigation hike..........Check any trail register and see how many folks use the pct each year..............Baden Powell alone gets over a 1000 hikers a month on it and scissors crossing gets, oh well lets not go there!
So well we may not see the numbers the AT gets we are still way up there..........

success.

However I use to follow the messages on the Mozilla Forums. There seemed
to have been many repeat threads on similar subjects. I guess mostly
because people just asked instead of searching, partially because
searches may not contain the right words to get the results (used
alternate terms instead).

Just took a quick look at White Blaze and it seems to have over 13,000
members while this list probably has less than a thousand. Anyone know
what our stats are. WB also solicits donations for support. So there are
BIG differences between WB and us.

Maybe just maybe we have some technically astute members who would
volunteer to create something like WB.

However is there even 1000 hikers a year on any part of the PCT. I hope so!
