When are you going on your Whitney expedition?
I would strongly suggest you camp overnight at Whitney Portal before pushing
on to Lone Pine Lake and stay maybe 2 nights at Trail Camp before pushing to
the top.
I think your biggest problem is acclimation and it takes more than 2-3 days
to acclimate.
The more days you will spend at high altitude the better.
We want you to succeed this time around.
