[pct-l] Switchback's Whitney hike and future monument

Say, Switchback is getting ready to tackle Mt. Whitney in August.  It will 
be a
fight to the finish. No quarter given and no quarter asked. The wounded will
be bayoneted.  In other words, I will not be coming back.  It will be a 
drive-by
shooting by Mt. Whitney.  Switchback will go into hiker history as another 
Whitney
statistic.  I thank you.

As the generations of future hikers and adventurers go forth into the Sierra 
to seek all she has to challenge our bodies and minds, how will we recognize 
Switchback's final resting place?, the monument to his long rewarding and 
rich life of pirate plundering , wisdom,and adventure. I hope it's not next 
to the Whitney Toilet. And yet, a stone pile next to the Whitney toilet is a 
better plot of turf than in the local generic 6ft reposistory for the dead. 
I plan to be cremated in a remote Sierra campfire, and have my ashes 
scattered by a female wilderness ranger.
