This data was extracted from the USFS file pct05_01, the same file that 
google earth uses. This should be used as a supplement to the official 
guidebook maps as the guidebook is the defacto standard for the PCT.

Please help us locate the GPS route data for the Oregon Washington section
of the PCT. I found the
California section GPS data from the USFS after hiking it in 2005.. It is
quite amazing viewing on Google Earth. We will be hiking the oregon
washington sectiion this summer and and want to look and dream about the
