I started my section hike in 1998 and remember logging into this list in the fall of 1997.  I had an AOL account back then, Chsyhkr at AOL.com.

>From sunny North Carolina, where it is 74 degrees today and forecast "high" in the early am is forecast to be 48 degrees.
