When you think about hiking the PCT and how hard the trail crews work the entire 2600 plus miles one man comes to mind down here in SoCal. Pete Fish!!!
   
  REI has made a 20,000$ grant to the PCTA  for all the work done down here by Pete and his crew of"Gorillas" who work with him.  In addition to this grant REI has also given Pete a 500$ gift card for his personal use. Knowing him as i do i wonder how much stuff he will purchase for his own use or end of buying things for his crew.....
   
  This past year alone has seen 3 of his trail gorilla team pass away, Lester Olin, Don Bennett and Ben Yorks wife in an horrible accident with her horse and buggy. Lester and Don both have been long time friends of mine as well as long time trail gorillas.
