[pct-l] Dogs on the PCT

You will probably get some strong opinions about bringing a dog on the trail. 

As for legality, dogs are not allowed on the trails in national parks and California state parks. This includes Anza-Borrego (just north of Laguna), a tiny bit of San Jacinto, Sequoia, Kings Canyon, Yosemite, Lassen, Crater Lake, and others. 

Also remember your furry friend will do anything to make you happy but can't tell you when she is really miserable because of long miles, sharp rocks, cold, heat, etc. Your schedule may be affected by her needs.
