[pct-l] Digital Camera with powerful zoom option?

I am currently using the Olympus 720sw

I have a 1gb card good fore 200+ shots in the hi-res mode many more in 
lower resolutions.

It is also waterproof to 3m and shock resistant, 5 ft drop test....

The only down side is the Li-Ion battery doesn't lend itself to 
recharging on the trail.

it has a macro mode...
