[pct-l] sleeping open in the desert

I have done it a few times but don't any more. Two reasons:
dust, and noise. A night sleeping open in the desert leaves
everything coated with dust, including the inside of your
sleeping bag. And once it's dark the mice come out -- it's
amazing how much noise a mouse can make, especislly when it's
prowling around 6 inches from your head.
There are also a *lot* of bugs that come out at night in
the desert, including some pretty nasty ones.
