Switchback replies: Yes, the drape is detachable.? I hardly ever take it off.? Be careful washing the hat/drape.? I?would hand wash it.



I do not think I have ever weighed the clothing.? It is very light.? The fabric is a tight weave with super ventilation and not heavy at all.? Excellent for the trail.

As I mentioned before, you will find this clothing (www.sunprecautions.com) almost magical.? It works so well in so many trail situations.
