If you are willing to up the bucks http://www.fibraplex.com/tentpoles2B.asp
will make you a pole for your Hubba that weighs about half what the stock
one does. That's close to half a pound off the weight.
They are beautifully designed and made.
I use a Hubba with no fly and these poles in canyon country in Utah to get
me out of the sand. Tent body and pole set weigh about 1.5 pounds.

(Heavier, but a feature I insist on).
