Hmmm...it's too bad you couldn't look at the applet. If you're looking at
the CSV data only, the data file is organized by month, day, year, hour
(24hr format) and then temperature (F), so I'm not sure when those
temperatures occurred that you're referring to. 

>From my own experience the coldest temperatures at high elevation are
definitely during the night. As soon as the sun sets behind the hills, the
temperature drops far and fast. We weren't able to ever get too much below
about 9,000 feet at night, so it was still cold at night...some nights we
woke up to shoes frozen so solid we couldn't get them on our feet without
pouring boiling water in them first.

That said, we went at a somewhat crazy time period during a somewhat crazy
year. What's happening when you try to run the app?
