[pct-l] PCT - Section A January 2008

I'm planning to start doing the PCT section by section and wanted to begin
this January with Section A to "see how I do".  Right now, I'm planning to
go alone (unless someone from this group wants to join me) from January 5 -
January 12.  I know it may be cold/windy, maybe even snowy so I'll be
prepared for that.  I'd like any advice you can give me as to a winter hike
in this area:  Equipment, camping areas, route-finding, etc.  Thanks!
