[pct-l] A potential mining operation along the PCT

Thanks Scott for posting this article. its great to
learn about something that can have an impact on the
PCT-- a refreshing reprieve from recent posts. 

it seems like the mining company does not have a solid
case to bring against the two Bakersfield residents--
you can't sue someone for asking questions at a public
hearing. Based on the fact the company is trying to do
so seems to mean the company does not know what they
are doing or they are trying to silence critics--
perhaps both. 

Anyway, does anyone on the PCT-L know more about this
potential mining operation? The PCTA?
