Pass the cheap, boxed wine.... (on backcountry trips. I've been partial to Malbecs for dinners when clad in comfy cotton and wearing "nice pants" (as Mom puts it).


On thru-hikes, I can't say I've ever carried wine. Maybe next time I thru-hike the PCT. :)
