up/turn it in at Kennedy Meadows (south),  Tuolumne Meadows, or Echo Lake.

Note that I don't know if this is the best price, just one I randomly
checked.

 

So $65 to rent one seems a bit steep.  Admittedly convenient to just pickup
and drop off, but note also that you have to be able to reasonably
accurately estimate your arrival date at KM for pickup.
