[pct-l] New Gear for the 2008 Campaign

I agree with you.  That is why I have a rain jacket and Rain Wrap  too.  But 
still the umbrella is really neat in the rain if it is not  blowing too hard.  
It is neat to bang along the trail under one in the  rain.  I like the idea 
that the umbrella keeps the rain from blowing on my  face and head area.
 
Sometimes for ventilation, I will take off any head gear and just hike the  
under umbrella in the rain (I still have the rain jacket and Rain Wrap  on).  
That can be very nice and comfortable.
