THANK YOU, for all you feedback! It is great to hear workers are in this section of trail, doing trail work. Where were they exactly. Who was it and how did they get a permit? I sure would be interested, in doing some trail work hear myself. I find it hard to understand why this was not made public, so some of us could have volunteered. This section of trail is in need of thousands of man hours. 
 
I would also like to apologize,  I do not want to sound like I am bashing the PCTA, Forest Service, or any one person at all. I would just like to hear the facts from the top, not a bunch of second hand information. 
 
I had 11 e-mails from people who feel the same. I also had a  e-mail from Bill Holt who says next time I am on the trail, I should lift a finger. I agree Bill, but I am not even sure the forest service has issued a permit for trail work in this area. So I am lifting a finger now, and trying to get to the bottom of things. After all, I pay the PCTA yearly membership fees for a reason. I want to protect and preserve the trail as well...
