...RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM THURSDAY TO 9 PM PDT
FRIDAY..
THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PENDLETON HAS ISSUED A RED FLAG
WARNING...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM THURSDAY TO 9 PM PDT
FRIDAY FOR THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCING ABUNDANT LIGHTNING. THE FIRE WEATHER
WATCH IS NO LONGER IN EFFECT.
ISOLATED TO SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL DEVELOP ON THURSDAY AND
WILL CONTINUE THURSDAY NIGHT AND FRIDAY. MODERATE TO HEAVY RAIN
CAN BE EXPECTED WITH SOME THUNDERSTORMS. DESPITE THE RAIN...THERE
WILL BE A POTENTIAL FOR SIGNIFICANT NEW FIRE STARTS DUE TO
ABUNDANT CLOUD-TO-GROUND LIGHTNING WHERE WILD LAND FUELS ARE VERY
DRY.
