On Sunday, August 19, while hiking a piece of Section N, I met Goat at the North Fork of the Feather River. He started at the Mexican border on June 4 and is typically doing 30 mile days recently, although on Saturday he had done 39. He seemed fit and cheery and is planning on reaching Canada in October.
