[pct-l] Ride from Echo Lakes to Mammoth 9/2 or 9/3

there's a shuttle that goes from carson city (or perhaps even reno) to
points south including mammoth (and perhaps as far as lone pine or so). 
getting from echo lake to carson city would be the tricky part...
although doable, considering i did it in reverse once.

I'm going to be hiking with 2 friends from Red's Meadow to Echo Lakes
(we'll
be arriving on 9/2), and was wondering if there were any suggestions

experiences regarding public transportation, or van/taxi services from
Echo
Lakes back to Mammoth.

And if any kind soul would be able to drive us we certainly would
compensate
for it!
