[pct-l] Hiking without food..........

We have a young survivalist hiker here waiting for a friend to come off the
trail. The kid is planning on hiking with out any food and plans to live off
the land eating plants, game caught and is carrying no water. He arrived
from Ohio with no rain gear and only a sleeping bag and shirtm thin jacket
and shorts (and shoes). Says he's never been out here in the north Cascades
before. What is the minimum I need to send with him so he survives his lack
of knowledge ??
