[pct-l] caching food at 108

My friends and I are going to be hiking from Red's meadow to highway 50 at
echo lake.  We were hoping to resupply at highway 108 but avoid needing to
hitch hike.

Are there any good places to cache food at hwy 108?  Also, since I have
never done a food cache before, what is the best way to package the food to
prevent animals from getting to it?
