Switchback the Bear Baiter replies: No problem.  The PCT  is in my back 
pocket, including bears.  The first thing I do after  setting up camp on the PCT is 
start looking for bears to pick on.  I  call it "bear baiting" on the trail.  
I take my monocular and start a half  mile sweep around my campsite.  I go 
into my stealth Indian mode ......  silent, transparent, and quick.
