Yes, once again the infamous Warner  Springs Loop has shaken hard core 
backpackers.  This is too be  expected and is in no way a criticism of their bravery 
and tenacity.  This  loop is one of the great challenges in backpackerdom.  
Mutant saber tooth  mountain lions, unrelenting heat, an unknown trail, and yet 
to be named  nightmares.  
 
Yes, it is for Trail Pirates to go  where others do not tread.  Wednesday 
morning, April 25, is a date with  fate, destiny, and the PCT history books.  The 
day Switchback will  challenge the Warner Springs Loop.  The day that will 
prove who is the  strongest and most determined; Mother Nature or the 
professional  backpacker.
