[pct-l] wordwrap problem viewing list messages

I'm sure this has been asked before, but I couldn't find it. I use the web
archives to browse the list regularly. Why are some messages
non-word-wrapped, so that you have to scroll right a long ways to finish
reading a message?

Is there an easy solution to this problem, short of biting the bullet and
just receiving all the list messages as they come through email?
