How about packing something in your box to share with these friendly folk?

What a great idea. Have a few of the pct post cards, maps or decals in with your supplies to use as special thank yous. Not at a cost that would hurt the hiker but enough for a simple "thank you". A little bit of giving makes the giver feel really good, let alone showing some generosity and mighty fine manners!   :)
