Ummmm yeah....awww it's ok..I've been mistaken for a guy before, what 
with a name like Ronnie Jo.  Gee, do ya think my mom was hopin for a boy 
when I was born? *LOL*  I was named after an uncle who died just before 
I was born. ;)  All is forgiven.

A bit about me- well if you had went to my MySpace page, you would have 
had an idea of what I actually look like.  I'm about 5 foot 5, waist 
length dark brown hair, about 120 lbs, and blue eyes. I'll be the one 
with the size 10 hiking boots. ;) (mens)

Well hun, if you see me on the JMT in 2008, you can certainly drag me 
into a cave......but since I won't be hiking that section then, you may 
have to wait until 2009 to drag me anywhere. I think I'm going to do the 
PCT in 2 sections...the northern half in 2008 and the southern half in 
2009, although I really would LIKE to do the whole thru hike in 2008.

  However, there is this little detail called a "husband" who thinks 
that I shouldn't be gone from home for that length of time, and since 
our anniversary is in the middle of the summer, he feels I should at 
least be home for that. Gotta love 'im.  But, since he is my support 
person (and pays for) for these trips, I don't wanna rock the boat too 
much, now do I?  However, he does not share my love of the great 
outdoors, nor does he share my love of hiking, so I'm on my own, once I 
hit the trails. I'm most definitely a "solo" hiker, at least until I 
find a partner to hike with (thanks gals for offering, I have your names 
etc written down and saved, no worries!).

Awww, don't feel ashamed..many make the same mistake as you did, 
thinking I, Ronnie Jo, am a guy. BTW, Ronnie is short for "Veronica". 
Does that help some? Only person that calls me that tho, is my mother, 
and you know "that" routine....I haven't heard that in many many years 
now....whew!

I don't know Pygmy, so I'd have to judge that one on its own 
merits......hehehe
