[pct-l] Extra water caches needed on section A

It seems this is going to be an extremaly dry year in soutern California, which means many of the usual water sources would possibly be dry by hiker season.
This might be extremaly problematic in the begining of the trail, on section A, when Hikers are not yet acclimated to the heat.
I'f I'm not mistaken it takes about a week or two to the body to get acclimized to the heat, even if You are in otherwise great physical condition.
This means that in case of a heat wave, which is not uncommon for this area, many hikers might discover they can't safly hike as far as they initialy planned, and that they are running out of water faster than they have expected. This (I think) has happend already to at least one pct thruhiker this year.

Therefore, adding a few water caches on the very begining of the pct might be an important safty measure.

Her's a suggestion: Could some of the people driving hikers to the trailhead at campo, create a couple of water caches on the way, and publisize on the pct-l where they are?
That way hopefully it could be found on the online water source page (I'm not sure whats its direct e-mail) http://www.4jeffrey.net/pctwater .

Any cache on the first section should be pretty a big cache, as chances are that at least on the first 30 miles of the pct, some illegale mexican imigrents will "share" the cache. If the cache is big enough and placed close enough the the kickoff date, chances are that some water will remain for hikers.

I'm not sure where the best location for the cach/caches would be, but I'm sure You can find somewhere that would break the 20 mile waterless sections that pottentialy might happen if water dries up.

  Thanks

P.S All the "I'm not a troll, I have legitimate opinions about water caching" people:
Please, please postpone writing Your knee jerk reaction about water caches for a couple of days. This is an important issue, which would be potencialy very beneficial to many hikers and I really hope this won't deteriorate to one of fruitless heated argument that are not uncommon with some subjects on this forum.

  Thanks again
