Dear Pygmy,
 I don't think that is hard at all to say that you are one FINE lookin 
man. That is no hoax or BS whatsoever. I won't be at the kickoff myself, 
but I thought I would chime in anyway, and let ya know what I thought. 
:-*     N I'm married no less, N if I can say that about someone I don't 
actually know, hun, that's sayin somethin.  Er, if I met ya on the 
trail, there would be 2 sleepin in my bag that night, one wide and 2 
deep, if ya catch my drift. :-P   Reinhold can't even hold a candle to 
you hun, he isn't second or even 3rd place in comparison to you. Yer 
just like Campbell's soup...Mmm Mmm good! I'd drag you off like in the 
old cave man days, but a bit reversed..hehehe.....drag you off to my 
cave and have my way with you....giggle....


I sent this to Pygmy as a private email also...so I guess I can post 
this to the list too....hehehe....I saw his pic he posted and I am not 
lying at all. I do think he is one fine lookin man. whoo hoo!!!!  He is 
probably hoping now he *doesn't* meet me on the trail....hehehe....

I won't be at the kickoff but I'd happily pay the postage for the 
trekking poles, as with so much gear to buy this year, I would be more 
than thrilled to win a set of those. But too, I wouldn't lie  merely to 
get them. That's mean.  Hope the kickoff is terrific and hope you all 
have a great time!  I will be hiking all summer and will be doing the 
PCT next summer...in 2008.

This will be my 3rd year and I will not be using poles. They were great thru the Sierra's but I did wind up carrying them on more occasions than I preferred. One of my fave's on the trail One Gallon never uses them and when I inquired he simply held up his two big powerful hands and smiled. He uses his hands as ice axe/crampons/balancing device... his pack weight is heavy only cause he takes books to read.Hummm. I forgot all about Billy Goat. OK OK.
