"The Walmart idea seems to fit in the above thought.
and if you don't like them - keep the receipt and
Walmart will refund your money!"

In 2004 when I got to the Tehachapi-Willow Springs
Road, I caught a ride with two guys who were dropping
Manzinata back at the trail. I left my Leki poles in
their Cherokee. Picked up a pair of the $10 Wal-Mart
poles in Tehachapi. One broke apart the first day I
used it. The other stuck at its longest extension, but
was useful. I got exactly what I paid for.

On another note, I got a pair of flip-flops at the
same store for $1.94! I still use them.
