I use charter for my email and on their main page tonight is a story about the fire up there.......Basicly it says the locals are refusing to leave but for the most part the 5/6 building at the landing may be emptyed out...... Those of you who have been there can picture the lay out of the town and i would guess most residents still there are the ones who live on the other side of the lake and so with a fleet of small boats would all be able to leave but if the vistors center which was just redone a few years ago goes it would be sad to see....The locals could all move as much stuff as they can to the other side of the lake and hope the fire will not get to them as wet weather seems to be on the way tomorrow.... 
  Lets hope the fire break holds and rain comes soon.....
