The Handbook paid for itself when I asked for the
PCT hiker's discount at Snoqualmie Lodge. I stayed there
twice. I appreciate the the variety of opinions. Not
everyone filters water, the alternate routes to the bypass, etc.. Yogi tends to be conservative with safety, which I
appreciate when solo hiking. Learning about places like Trout Lake were great, and food tips (the best potatos, the best mac and cheese, and real bacon) were priceless. I
always carried her small sheets with me.
