[pct-l] Marge's condition

Cris,
Here is the latest news about Marge [Old Gal] condition:
1) Marge was flown from the Medicare Hospital in Kathmandu to Samipives [sp]
Hospital in Bangkok two days ago (since it's modern hospital). 
2) Marge had the leg surgery done last night at the Bangkok hospital. I've
not received an email from Carol yet saying how it went yet.
3) Marge will be in Bangkok hospital for a week or so to recovery from leg
surgery. Then she will fly to LA, and then to home in ID after that.

Any news on Marge?  Please relay my wish for her safe and comfortable return
home and a speedy recovery.  She is in my prayers. 

This could happen to any of us "Old Gals", and you "Ol' Guys" too.

I know Marge (Old Gal) has posted several times on this list and is known in
the PCT community. So I thought I share some news about her while she was
trekking over in Nepal. Marge broke her left femur and cracked her right
pelvis while walking on a road in Pokhara, Nepal. She was hit by a car which
ran over her left leg. Please keep her in your prayers.

The current plan is to try to fly her back to the US via Bangkok on Nov 8,
2006. And then have the surgery. She is currently at the Medicare Hospital
in Katmandu.
